Membership Committee

Diane Reese will draft a new welcome letter for paid members. It will list the benefits members receive for the 2006 show season. Those include scheduled open ring nights, free or reduced rated for clinics, reduced entry fees, and an invitation to a year-end awards banquet.

Grounds

Steve Vrable reported that the clubhouse was recently vandalized. The redwood picnic tables were damaged, as well as some screens on the porch, ad the taillights on the water truck. The most serious damage was the destruction of the block glass window next to the tractor garage. Mary Frey filed a police report with West Hempfield Township, and the window has been boarded shut until it can be permanently bricked off.

Ways and Means

Deb Schuch has volunteered to help Mary Glazier recruit businesses to advertise in the 2006 horse show program. Several hundred dollars in advertisements have come in to date. Packets of information for potential sponsors were given to club members to distribute. Al ads will be due to Mary Glazier by March 15, 2006.

Horse Show Committee

Tentative dates for the 2006 season were discussed. Revisions were made to the Sunday and Wednesday Night Pleasure Series. Gail Huber will contact judges for 2006, and Heather Anderson will contact Wednesday night reining judges.

Next Meeting
