June 11, 2007 Minutes

A regular meeting of the Columbia Riding Club Board of Directors was called to order by President Mark Anderson at 7:25 p.m. on Monday, June 11, 2007 at the club. Seven board members present included Pat Hill, Steve Vrabel, Heather Anderson, Dick Getz, Diane Reese, Anita Butler and Amanda Reed.

The minutes of the May meeting were read and approved. A treasurer's report was given by Pat Hill who reported a balance of $9,056.20. She also reported that bills from the Paper Horse, and for the food license are paid. The hunter show on June 30 recorded a profit of $671.00 and the show from yesterday, Sunday, June 10, reported a profit of $833.50.

Grounds

Steve reported that Denny Cunningham is again doing the mowing.

Membership

Diane reported there are about 46 members so far this year with eight being added since last month.

Ways and Means

Heather reported about ten sponsors and that we can either make a banner or add them to the next edition of our show book. It was decided to add them to the book.

Horse Show Committee

Heather reported the largest Wednesday night pleasure show ever in May and also that the Wednesday night Hunter show was large. Anita would like to purchase a tape measure and bucket for the gaming shows.

Pat reported an updated balance of $10,826.70 with the show deposits added.
