Ways and Means

Kathy Bowman suggested we issue some type of gift certificates or CRC bucks that would be available on the website and used for any cost at the club, like entry fees or membership costs. Kathy will look into various options on how to issue and redeem these certificates. Also, a community weekend is planned for April 18 & 19. Kathy asked Julie Good to give a demonstration with her minis. Kathy is working on several ideas for the weekend. Steve suggested having a horse show committee meeting prior to the next meeting to finalize plans.

Horse Show Committee

Amanda reported sponsor forms were sent. Brent also hand delivered many forms to the Columbia area. The tubs are organized for the shows. Judges contracts are mailed; two more judges need to be hired. The Pennsylvania Equestrian contacted us for advertising. They will give us a 6 x 4 inch ad in exchange for our distribution of their magazines at our shows. Also, our events will be posted on PA Equestrian's calendar of events for the entire season. In addition, Cindy McVey of Happy Mare volunteered to give free horse massages if we run raffles to give them away.
