Buildings and Grounds
The Wednesday night show September 9 was cancelled due to rain and rescheduled for September 23. Our neighbor has been mowing the lower ring all season and has done a great job. It was motioned by Pat and Christina approved by the board to give Mack & Cathy Adams a Visa gift card. We discussed replacing the boards on the upper ring since there is a good price on them and the posts are in good condition. The tractor was recently serviced because it was not mowing well. The blades were replaced and the belt will be replaced next year. The canopy was not taken down after Wednesday's show and was blown into the ring, causing damage to the frame. Steve will look into repair parts.Pat purchased the suitcase style table for the upper ring and we bought more landscape timbers. A fall clean up date was set for Sunday October 18 at 1 p.m.
Ways and Means
A community day date needs set for April 2010. The police offered to give pony rides as a fundraiser.
