Membership

I reported a total of 20.

Buildings and Grounds

Steve reported the clean-up last Saturday accomplished quite a bit, and there is quite a bit more to do. The kitchen needs cleaned, along with the inside of the clubhouse. We also need to repair the roof and clean the secretary's stand. The mowing is done. Steve also needs to order mulch and he wants to expand the mulched area. Heather reported the ladies room is ready to paint. Steve will order new towel dispensers for both bathrooms. Heather's school class is making a new sign to post patterns on. The tree signs are almost ready. It was decided to display tree donations individually. Christina suggested installing ceiling fans in the secretary's stand, and Pat suggested painting the inside. Steve will put these items on his list.

Horse Show Committee

Christina handed out 2010 show booklets. It was decided to refund ad money to the Old Oak on page 32 because their ad did not print well. Christina has 250 books made so far. Our first open ring is April 22. It was noted that you must be a present CRC member in order to ride at open ring nights. Our first show is April 24. The same caterer as last year will again provide food for this years shows. Kelley passed out show entry forms.

Old Business

Kelley is set for the silent auction to be held at the first show. Heather made several inquiries as to where to hold a banquet and we decided to work on a budget of not more than $20. She will continue to look into locations and caterers.

New Business

The community day is planned for May 1. Heather reported our Facebook page has 94 friends so far, since she set it up last month.

The meeting was adjourned at 8:10 pm.

The next regular board meeting is scheduled for Monday, May 10, at 7 p.m. at the club, in conjunction with an open ring.

Respectfully submitted,
